We had a great fitting and rehearsal yesterday! We even had two models who were not originally slated to be in the event show up! Luckily, everything worked out well. We had 16 designers and 33 models present yesterday. After fitting ethical fashions, evening attire, and everything in between - the models were ready to rehearse. We started with the male models. The men looked dashing and most of them had natural modeling ability. After a little tweaking, the guys were absolutely superb. As the female models started to join the runway rotation for practice, we realized how outstanding our models were on the runway!! It is amazing to see such a beautiful array of multicultural models. I was so proud that we had such a beautiful "inside and out" group of talented models!
 
The DESIGNERS. Wow, fantastico! The designers had designs that looked absolutely spectacular! They were well crafted, had an original point of view, and represented their own opinion of fashion. I was amazed at the creativity, but also the beauty of the apparel. The clothing was sometimes classic, sometimes colorful, sometimes flashy, sometimes business, and sometimes sultry. The designers will delight even the most disinterested "not into fashion" observer. We even had a designer who was still in high school! Absolutely fabulous!
 
We, as the event production team,  were very pleased with yesterday's fitting and rehearsal. We can't wait until the next one on August 9th! We will be passing through on Ellsworth Drive if you want to get a sneak peak at the Street Glam team.
