Meet the Designers
Kustom Looks Clothier President/CEO, Kwab Asamoah, is easily recongized by "the tape". Asamoah has been dazzling runways with his classic designs, bespoke collection, and sleek formal apparel since he founded the company in May 2005 out of his Bowie, MD townhome.
Everetta Edwards is Vice President of Kustom Looks Clothier, a custom-tailoring company located in the heart of downtown Silver Spring, MD. Everetta joined Kustom Looks as Marketing Director in early 2006 to develop creative marketing strategies for the burgeoning company.
Katie Waterworth is currently a second semester senior at Maryland Institute, College of Art, majoring in Fiber with a concentration in experimental fashion design. Her work is heavily influenced by historical women’s costume as well as inspiration from non-western sources as well. Katie was born and raised in Silver Spring MD and currently makes her living as a professional dog groomer.
Multi-talented Stylist/Designer, Monique Williams-Ross specializes in head-to-toe styling (hair, wardrobe, makeup and interior decor). She has an exceptional eye for style and realized her talents during her early teens as she possessed a natural ability to style hair, apply makeup, design clothes and interior decorate as if she had a magic wand. Her sought after style made her a trendsetter in her hometown. She was quickly known for her creative skills and often did hair, makeup, wardrobe styling and personal shopping for classmates, friends and family members.
Manish Singh is the designer for the New York fashion house, Victor Rossi. He is also a member of FGI Fashion Group International, a global, non-profit professional organization serving the fashion apparel, accessories, beauty industries.
Ksara Kouture creates custom made garments to fit the style and personality of each client. They can create anything from a wedding dress to swimwear. Adding personality or alterations to already exsiting peices is also one of their many things they can do.
STUDIO D-MAXSI is one of the fastest growing fashion houses in the
Washington, DC metropolitan area. With unique, innovative, and edgy
designs, AFUASAM of Studio D-MAXSI creates women's wear masterpieces
for the chic and funky modern woman.
Madia Willis is a fashion designer who moved to DC from NYC 3 years ago. She is famous for her clothing line, BiriBelle Clothing.
Nyorh Agwe is an aspiring designer in Albert Einstein High School. In 2008, Nyorh Agwe formed her school's first Fashion Club and Fashion Show. She has been designing for 3 years for family, friends, and students making ready-to-wear, evening gowns, and costumes."
